Appointments can be booked through our website's Book Appointment page or by sending us a WhatsApp message. All bookings are subject to slot availability and confirmation by our team.
You must provide accurate information including patient name, contact number, tests required, and preferred date and time when booking.
An appointment is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from our team via WhatsApp or phone.
We reserve the right to decline a booking if the requested tests or services are unavailable on the requested date.
Walk-in patients are welcome at our centre, subject to available capacity at the time of visit.
Bookings made on behalf of another person must include the patient's details. You confirm that you have the patient's consent to share their information with us.
05 — Sample Collection
Sample Collection
All samples are collected by our trained and qualified phlebotomists in accordance with standard laboratory protocols. To ensure accurate test results, patients are required to:
Follow any fasting or preparation instructions communicated at the time of booking. Failure to do so may affect the accuracy of results.
Provide accurate and complete medical history, including current medications, prior conditions, and any allergies when asked.
Present a valid doctor's prescription where required for specific tests.
Inform us immediately if you experience any discomfort during or after sample collection.
We are not liable for inaccurate results arising from undisclosed medical conditions, medications, or failure to follow pre-test preparation instructions provided to you.

Reports & Results
Diagnostic reports are prepared and validated by our qualified pathologists. Reports are typically delivered within the timeframes specified at the time of booking and may be shared via WhatsApp, email, or collected in person at our centre.
Reports are issued solely to the patient or their authorised representative. We do not share reports with third parties without the patient's explicit consent.
Turnaround times are indicative and may vary depending on the complexity of the tests or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any significant delays.
We take every reasonable step to ensure the accuracy of our reports. However, diagnostic testing involves inherent limitations, and results should always be interpreted by a qualified medical professional.
If you believe there is an error in your report, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt so we can investigate and, if necessary, reprocess the sample.
07 — Home Collection
Home Collection Service
We offer home collection services across serviceable areas of Kolkata. Home collection slots are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance through our booking process.
A home collection charge may apply depending on your location and the tests booked. This will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.
The patient or a responsible adult must be present at the address at the scheduled time. If our phlebotomist arrives and no one is available, the visit may be marked as a no-show.
Please ensure a clean, well-lit, and safe environment for our phlebotomist to carry out the sample collection.
Our phlebotomists carry official identification. You may verify their identity before allowing them access to your premises.
We are not responsible for any delays caused by traffic, natural events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
08 — Payments & Pricing
Payments & Pricing
All prices for tests, packages, and services are as communicated at the time of booking. We are committed to transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
The price quoted at the time of booking is the price you will pay. Any changes to scope (e.g., additional tests) will be communicated and agreed upon before processing.
We accept cash and digital payment methods including UPI at our centre and at the time of home collection.
A payment receipt will be issued for all transactions. Formal invoices for insurance, reimbursement, or tax purposes must be requested at the time of booking.
Prices displayed on our website are indicative and may be updated periodically. Always confirm the current price at the time of booking.
Insurance acceptance is subject to tie-ups with individual providers. Please confirm whether your insurance is accepted before booking.
09 — Cancellation & Refund
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to all parties.
Before sample collection: Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge. We request at least 2 hours' notice for home collection cancellations.
After sample collection: Once a sample has been collected and sent to the laboratory for processing, no refund will be issued except in cases of a verified laboratory error.
Home collection no-show: If our phlebotomist has already arrived at your address, the home collection fee is non-refundable regardless of cancellation.
Lab errors: If a report is found to be erroneous due to a laboratory processing error, we will reprocess the test at no charge or issue a full refund for the affected test.
All complaints or refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the report via WhatsApp or email at care@plasmascientific.in.
10 — Liability
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plasma Scientific Diagnostics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising in connection with your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any health decisions, medical treatments, or actions taken by you or your doctor based on diagnostic reports issued by us, without independent medical consultation.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation of our website. Temporary downtime, errors, or interruptions are not grounds for liability on our part.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, power outages, or civil emergencies.
